Architecture & Interior Design
STUDIO HAVN is a full-service architecture and interior design studio shaping spaces with clarity, care, and contextual sensitivity. From historic restorations to contemporary builds, we work across scales and settings, residences, hotels, yachts, and more, designing environments that balance functionality with quiet beauty. Rooted in collaboration, our process begins with deep listening. Every detail responds to the site, its history, and the people who will experience it. The result: tailored, enduring spaces that feel grounded, refined, and alive to their context.
Process
STUDIO HAVN adheres to the RIBA Plan of Work in order to organise the process of briefing, designing, construction and operating all of our projects, whether the scope is Architecture, Interior Design or both.

Founder
Tanis Paul
Tanis is the Founder and Director of STUDIO HAVN bringing over two decades of international experience across Canada, the US, and the UK.
Originally from Winnipeg, she holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University. Her career has spanned London, Los Angeles and New York, shaping high-end residential and commercial projects for Koetter Kim & Associates, Hayne Architects, and Studio Tim Campbell, where she launched and directed the East Coast office.
Since returning to the UK in 2016, Tanis has led projects across the UK, Europe, the US and China, combining an international outlook with a deep sensitivity to context. She also co-heads an annual design studio in Iceland with the University of Manitoba and Dalhousie University and consults with architecture faculties worldwide.
At STUDIO HAVN, Tanis draws on her global experience to guide architecture and interior design projects that unite craftsmanship, context and thoughtful detail.
