Cadogan Square

Restoration/ Renovation – Listed Building – Architecture – Interior Design

Studio HAVN undertook the renovation and restoration of a Grade II listed three-storey townhouse on Cadogan Square for a young couple who reside in the area. The project was defined by a commitment to preserving the property’s historic architectural character, with particular care given to maintaining its original architectural elements.

The interiors emphasise natural materials, warm tones, and subtle contrasts, expressed through clay-based paints, tobacco-stained finishes, and a carefully balanced palette that enhances the home’s elegance and intimacy. Joinery plays a central role in the design, conceived, fabricated, and finished with precision so that each piece sits lightly within the spaces whilst contributing to the overall sense of refinement and craftsmanship.

The completed home honours its historic fabric and offers a contemporary expression of comfort and understated luxury.
