Studio HAVN were appointed as the Interior Designers for a distinguished property in the historically significant neighbourhood of St James’s, along the renowned Pall Mall.

Our scope focused on the public areas, including the entrance lobby, lift lobbies across five floors, and a 65 sq m atrium designed as the social heart of the building, incorporating seating areas, a library, and a coffee bar. The brief was to create an environment that evokes timeless luxury and comfort, drawing inspiration from the private members’ clubs that characterise the area.

Particular emphasis was placed on materiality, colour, and texture to foster a sense of welcome and ease. Reclaimed timbers, rich parquet flooring, and muted palettes were layered with sumptuous fabrics such as velvets and leathers, complemented by worn rugs and brass lighting, all honour the heritage of St James’s whilst offering a contemporary expression of comfort and sophistication.
