Studio HAVN, as part of a newly formed collaborative, are working on the architecture and interior design of a new private residence in Benedict Canyon, Los Angeles. Conceived as a contemporary luxury home, the project is a ground-up build that responds directly to its hillside setting and the surrounding Californian landscape.

The design embraces the region’s distinctive indoor–outdoor lifestyle, with expansive glazing, flowing spatial connections, and terraces that dissolve the boundary between house and garden. A strong emphasis is placed on natural materials, stone, timber, and multiple textures, used both inside and out to create warmth, tactility, and a sense of permanence. These elements are carried seamlessly between the interiors and exterior living spaces, resulting in a home that is both sophisticated and deeply rooted in its environment.
